Post by YS »

Hi Guys,

We have so many good new people who joined in and missed the original International Shaving day, a day when all of us join and use the same shaving product world wide…

All you need for this day is to go to your nearest Grocery store / health food store or go online buy some kiss my face moisturizing shaving Cream and post on this thread I’m in.

I would like to thank Dennis and Dave for starting the idea.

Here are of the Moisture Shave Kiss my face has to offer:

Peaches & Cream

Cool Mint

Fragrance Free

Key Lime

Lavender & Shea

Patchouli

Peach

Vanilla Earth

Im In.

Hello YS,

Count me in. I'll ask my wife to pick me up the Peaches & Cream and a Vanilla next time she visits Whole Foods. Maybe I'll mix them together in the quaich :) !

I'll just move Proraso Day to Saturday that weekend :) .

Cheers,

I shaved with Peaches & Cream tonight for the first time in about a month. Good stuff. But why do they claim it's moisturizing? My face is only slightly less dry right now than if I'd used my typical Wiliams hard soap.

I've seen the KMF creams at Whole Foods but have never been interested in them although I love the KMF soaps. Are these creams meant to be used with a brush? I will try to pick some up but the local WF is across town and I am rarely over that way.

If I can get some cream, then I will definitely be in.

I have no idea if the manufacturer intended for it to be used with a brush (they aren't mentioned on the label), but KMF really responds well to a brush.

Chris Moss started an excellent thread on KMF:

Read and enjoy!

Chris, tell us more about your violet KMF. Where do you get your essential and/or fragrance oils?

I'd read somewhere (perhaps a post by Corey on another board) about a violet fragrance oil that smelled exactly like Trumper's violet. This would be a good find!

Hello All,

My wife picked me up some KMF Peaches and Cream Shave Cream at Whole Foods today. I also asked for Vanilla, but there wasn't any.

So I am ready for KMF Day!

Cheers,

I'm in on this, just have to decide between Cool Mint, or Key Lime. Maybe I'll mix 'em!

I think I'm gonna let my wife pick the Kiss My Face fragrance next time we go to Whole Foods. She loves Vanilla, so I'm guessing that'd be her choice.

Chris, Randy and all, I have been resisting in joining this endeavor. I guess you all caught me at a weak moment and will join in. I will pick up some KMF at whole foods on my next visit.

Hi Dennis,
As many members said before me, all you need to do is ask…

Austin,

What’s the point? Resistance is futile…

Chris,

If you make the special Violet batch, and it comes out decent, I am more then willing to buy a sample from you, just to use on ISD

Egads. I just spent some serious quid with Robert and Charlotte, sent a roll of Euros to Bernd, and am sending an even bigger roll of greenbacks to Ray for a Rooney Finest. Now, you tell me I have to go spend MORE?!?

Well, OK...

Just to be clear: This stuff does LATHER, right? Today at the barber's I went for a promo deal on a tube of American Crew shaving cream... And the stuff is near worthless from what I can tell. It smells OK and lubes the face somewhat, but produces nothing by way of lather or foam. My King of Shaves gel is better than this muck.

But a nice foamy jasmine shave courtesy of KMF could be just the ticket!

I just picked up some Lavender & Shea at our local HEB grocery store today. SWMBO says she'll use it on her legs if I don't like it for myself.
