Razor: Wilkinson Sticky*
Blade: Schick Plus Platinum*
Brush: Simfix Grosvenor LE*
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Trumper Violets (Tallow)*
A/S: Floid Amber
Another great shave using mostly discontinued items (marked with an *). The one vintage item that I am in short supply of is vintage aftershaves. Fortunately I have a few on the way -a vintage Yardley and an Avon Tai Winds. All in the name of the Monday "Mourning" Shave.

All products are vintage or discontinued except the scuttle and preshave oil.
Becker scuttle
Homemade Frankincense & Myrrh preshave oil
Somerset Simpson PJ 3 Best brush
Ralph Lauren Safari shaving soap
Wilkinson Sticky razor
Gillette Platinum Plus blade (9)
Abercrombie & Fitch Woods aftershave balm
A great shave. But it's time to change the blade, I think.

Noxzema & Hot Towel Prep
Klar Kabinett Shave Soap
Simpsons Ehsan
Genco Master Barber 5/8
Neil Miller .. 30/50
Witch Hazel
Bloc Osma .. as a proof
Lucky Tiger Aspen AfterShave
The Simpsons Colonel never fit my chubby little fingers that well. I was lucky enough to have a little lathe time come my way, so I modified it near the base just a tad... A very large radius; so large it looks like an angle, gave me loads more comfort, and I like the look also, so it's a win-win... (God I despise that phrase.. They used to use it in work whenever we were due for a raise. Whenever the company would win-win... We would lose-lose)
Last shave for the Genco... Today will decide if I leave the edge as is, or return to previous form..
The Aspen is always a welcome finish...

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: 1967 Gillette Slim Adjustable
Blade: Astra Keramik
Brush: Simfix Grosvenor LE Two Band Super
Soap/Cream: Body Shop Old Formula Cream
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Trumper Marlborough A/S Splash
A great shave, full of nostalgia! It really is a shame that so many good shaving products, such as Body Shop old formula, have been discontinued. Fortunately, I have plenty of the Body Shop to last awhile--a few years ago, I bought several pots of the stuff on clearance for $4.00 a tub.

"Hello Floyd, this is Barney Fife. Who's in the chair...well
get rid of 'em. I'm coming over and I'm ready for action!
That's right, I want the works...shave, haircut, witch hazel,
O.D. cologne, toilet water...If it smells I want it!"
