Good morning. Sunday:

Jaggerooney w/Dorco 301, 33
BK 4
Trumper's Limes soap
Thayer's Lavender witch hazel
Harris Pink
Hammam Bouquet

Cool, rainy day here in Va, so Hammam seemed like a nice change of pace.
Best,
Chris

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: 1956 Gillette Red Tip Superspeed
Blade: Super Iridium
Brush: Simfix Grosvenor LE Two Band
Soap or Cream: Body Shop Cream (old formula)
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, G.F. Trumper's Marlborough Splash

It seems that the Super Iridium blades did not go out of production, but the distribution changed and they are now being packaged as “Polsilver Super Iridium” blades. While bemoaning the apparent absence of Super Iridiums, I have found several blades that work about as well for me as the SI blades, but none of them give as many shaves per blade. I haven’t tried the Polsilver SI blades yet, but I’m hopeful. This morning’s shave was excellent–the old stuff still has what it takes for a great shave!
