Love, American style
The ax - Merkur 38C
The blade - Fresh US-made Personna Lab Blue
The brush - Col. Conk/Vulfix pure badger
The lather - Mama Bear's unscented soap
Aprés le rasoir - Generic witch hazel, then Pinaud Special Reserve
I <heart> Lab Blues. With Israeli Blues, they are my now my faves! No irritation, a sweet DFS virtually every time.

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
Brush: H.L. Thäter Stout 2 (4125/2)
Soap or Cream: Provence Sante Green Tea Soap
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Provence Sante Verlaine Splash
If wetshaving were an academic field, then this morning’s shave would have been a “textbook” shave! Everything just worked together in harmony, with BBS results. I really like the Provence Sante soaps–good performance and very pleasant (to me, anyway) fragrance. This shave was a great start to the day.

Ach Brito Glyce preshave soap
Georgetown G4 scuttle
Somerset Simpson Rover Pure (22/45)
Truefitt & Hill Rose shaving cream
Wilkinson Sticky
Wilkinson Sword Master (3)
Aramis Tuscany aftershave balm
A great shave. The blade has smoothed out after a couple uses. The Rover feels and works more like best than pure. I'm not overly fond of the rose scent of the cream, but it has good cushion and glide.

Razor: Merkur VISION
Blade: Super Iridium
Brush: Simpson Somerset Beaufort 6
Cream: A.D.Parma
Cologne: Aqua De Parma Colonia
The Acqua di Parma Collezione Barbiere shaving cream was a gift from John for me to try out since I was late to his sale. As you can see, it produces a wonderful, rich lather with a nice citrus smell. Doug
