Re: brushes for sale
I recall maybe 7 -10 years ago people sought them. Stan now has $40 and I have a brush headed my way. I was once SBAD ridden but lately I have just been acquiring simple ones like this.fallingwickets wrote:Mike, a little bit before my sbad, but are those brushes the ones everyone thought were the absolute beez neez and then they stopped being sold???

Re: brushes for sale
Received the OAS brush from Stan today. Beautiful throwback style. THANKS again Stan!!!

Re: brushes for sale
That was a late OAS brush, given that the handle had the stripes that became the hallmark of the Rooney brushes (OAS were prototypes before Rooney entered the brush market); earlier OAS brushes had plain handles, mostly cream, but rarely black. They are amongst the finest brushes you can (can't might be more appropriate nowadays) buy. I think I have three of them and a couple of the Rooneys. Worth looking out for.
