Free Mergress Conversion Contest

Hello Everyone,

Here's your chance to have your Merkur Progress upgraded to a Mergress for free!

You will have your choice of the standard or the longer knob along with your choice of dot colors.

Like all of my conversions your razor will have the new knob installed, the razor will be calibrated and the action tuned to provide the best performance possible.

Shipping will be free in the United States and only $10 internationally.

You will need to provide your own Merkur Progress.

The Rules:

You enter this contest by making a post in this thread.

Only one post/entry per person please.

Your post number which I will assign based on the date and time you posted you posted will be your entry number.

You must post your entry by 9:00 AM Central Standard Time Wednesday June 24th to be eligible.

Posts made after this date and time (6/24/09 9:00am CST) will not be entered.

The winner will be chosen by an online random number generator at http://www.random.org/

Remember, you can send me your existing Progress or order one from the vendor of your choice and have it shipped to me for the free conversion.

WOW, I just got home from work and found the good news. Now I've got to go shopping and find a Progress so I can have it converted.

I sure will. I just ordered a Progress from BullGoose and had it shipped to Eric so now the wait for this beauty begins.

The Mergress arrived yesterday and as promised, here is a picture. I sent Eric a logo and asked him to use the colors from it. The final results are stunning and I'm quite happy with this new acquisition. The razor was loaded today with a new Swede and I'll give it a test drive tomorrow.

Hey, that matched pretty good. I was going from memory with the purple and had to mix red and blue to make it. Not too bad if I do say so myself...
