Un Chien Andalou....i warn you.....!!!!
Take a look at this picture; it's taken from a book about movies; these are pictures from a famous French movie made in 1928 by Luis Bunuel called "Un Chien Andalou" (which means: "A dog from Andalusia"), a short movie with a scene in which someone is cutting a human eye with a straight razor; see the little picture in the left upper corner of the page.
I hope i didn't scare some of you guys

ahhh An Andalusian Dog...
Chris is right, I'm only familiar with this film because I have heard it compared to my beloved Jon Waters flicks so often. Namely, Pink Flamingos. I think the film was more of an inspiration to David Lynch than Waters though. A. Dog definately reminds me more of Eraserhead.
As far as disturbing and "I wish I had never seen this" goes, nothing comes close to Salo: 120 Days of Sodom.

For tasteless, it's tough to beat "The Discreet Charm of the Bourgoise"
I'll have to have a look at "Leolo," I try not to miss anything with Tom Waits in the cast or on the soundtrack. His resume includes such excellent movies as the Jarmusch films "Down By Law," and "Night On Earth," "Smoke," "Basquiat," etc...

It's actually a pig's eye - easy to see in the still picture above, less so at the full frame rate of the movie. This movie was said to be a collaboration between Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dali, and ... need I say more?drP wrote:If you Google "Un Chien Andalou" on pictures you can see even more details of this horrible scene:
Hmmmm....enough dirty pictures in this topic.......

I have actually seen this film, and only because it was mentioned in a shaving section of a book called "Gentlemen: A Timeless Fashion,"--i highly reccomend this book.
Anyway, it's everything you'd expect it to be when you consider that it was written by Dali. Also the eye is not that of a pig, but a cow (according to imdb.com).
I actually downloaded it off Limewire if any of you want to see this film, which you should, just so that you can say you have.
