I have been noticing that a 4th pass is necessary as the blade gets to the end of life. I have been trying it at 1 and just running it wild in every direction as the blade never touches skin at 1. I then notice a couple spots that I missed at 7. These are usually in problem areas for me so I don't try as hard with the first three passes and then use the last pass for the hard spots. We will see if this is still necessary with the new blade tomorrow.

Thanks, I don't know what to say... I'll donate all the money I receive from SMF to charity. Do I get a ribbon or an official title?

Yes, Gordon, it was another of those rose days. After all, those of us who lack an underground vault full of Coates shave creams must do something to entertain ourselves while Coates repackages.
My first SOTD post on SMF:

Hydrolast Unscented A/S Conditioner
For the life of me I cannot get GFT creams to lather decently, I have tried Violet, Rose and the Coconut cream and all I get is a poor thin lather that causes the razor to stutter.
I can lather most other creams perfectly well, and I know it's not a water quality problem as I have an in line R/O, de-ioniser unit. Any ideas?
