In case anyone missed it. these London shops, Trumpers, T&H, etc. use disposible blade straights...and not Feather ACs either, but rather numbers like that Dovo Shavette. I've been shaved many times with them in NYC and can hardly recommend them. It's exceedingly difficult to get a close shave with them and at the same time avoid razor burn and other irritations. Trumper barbers apparently decide to err on the side of avoiding skin irritation, sacrificing a close shave in the bargain. Personally, if I went to Trumpers today I would either bring a traditional shave ready real straight with me, or failing that, just my trusty Schick Injector and insist on at least two full passes. While I'm a long time fan of the firm and would really enjoy the atmosphere there I am simply not paying that kind of money for a once over with a Shavette. At one time I might have, but not today.

So Ted's it is! ...according to their website "Using traditional ‘cut-throat’ razors our trained experts will amaze you with their skill and precision. Be prepared to be looked at twice!"

I'm always up for being looked at twice... especially if it isn't a radar speedtrap!
