My last tube of Noxzema Lather Shave Cream will be opened tonight. It's kind of...:( , even.

Man walks into a California gunshow to the booksigning table of the late, famous Bill Jordan. ' Uh, Mr Jordan, I have this rare, unfired Smith and Wesson model 19. Should I save it to increase the value?' Jordan takes the revolver from it's box, dryfires it 6 times putting a ring on the cylinder and hands it back. "God made things to be USED, not saved for other's to enjoy- go home and shoot it!"

Use it and enjoy it, we can't bring it with us if we keep it too long.

It makes a lot of sense to use it. But on the other hand, if the last owner had used it up, then I'd never have had it. So I am grateful that some folks didn't use theirs. Here's the kicker --- the old unused thilngs probably went for fifty cents or a dollar at an estate/garage sale. In those cases, I like to picture the former owner kicking himself for having deprived himself of a couple hundred great shaves so his relatives could sell it for next to nothing after he's gone. Then I picture him smiling from ear to ear and applauding if I come along and buy it and take it home and enjoy every moment of it. This is me saying something I don't do. I confess I've got some great NIB soaps that I just can't bring myself to use. And I can't even tell you why!

The only time I ever pursued fidelity with a soap or cream was when my tub of Charles Tyrwhitt ran low. Then I used it every day until it was gone. I remember it clearly and fondly.

I am surprised no one picked the ball up and re-marketed this. I never had the pleasure myself and ask how does it differ from the face cream besides the lathering.

Shaving cream is like whiskey; it doesn't get any better in the container and it is a shame to let it sit around unused.

That's the simple truth Bob, eloquently spoken!

I didn’t know it was possible for any tube of cream to EVER be gone. Anybody actually use up a tube of Omega - they are HUGE!
