They forgot to include it on the October container. I am told it will be on the December/ January container. I too was looking forward to it.

Gada, tough so far but I am trying. I will make some calls when I can.

Joe, I'm curious about the Sabi three-piece razors.

The shaving head strongly resembles that of the fixed-head Merkurs. Are the shaving characteristics (mild-to-aggressive) approximately the same, also?

Thanks -

The new ones are of excellent quality and come from Taiwan as opposed to the first run out of Pakistan. I still have a few old ones around if you were speaking of those.

The new ones are great shavers and for me they give a close and smooth shave, better than the first run from the Paki's. No cuts, but not a mild razor at all. The casting of the heads are much better as well as the all around metal work on the handles. The head is the same on any of them from Taiwan right now.

I will continue to work with the Taiwan supplier from here on as the political situation in Pakistan is no longer good for the USA and the quality from there is hit or miss. They do have the ability to make good stuff, O.K. stuff, but their follow through in packaging and shipping was awful.

Thanks for the reply, Joe.

I think I would be more interested in the Taiwanese product for the better quality control. It sounds like the razor is probably more aggressive than I want, as I currently use an iKon Bulldog with safety bars, which shaves like a heavy-duty Gillette Tech.

On the other hand, assuming that the finish is good on these razors, it would be hard to go wrong with a purchase at $25.00, as the handle alone would be worth the asking price.

I think you will be fine with these given that example or comparison.
