Big old Sheffield (1"+)
Salters Indian Sandalwood
Omega S knot
Nice shave this morning. I can't identify this Sheffield (Lan "something" ear). It has an acorn stamp on the tang. I really enjoy shaving with these old wedges. Have a good one.
No wonder I don't post pictures... Even my finest straights are but pathetic seconds to the razors posted in this thread. The only razors I have, that could stand the photon bombardment, is my Ralf Aust 6/8 stainless w/African Blackwood scales and my Joe Chandler custom 7/8", and even those are ho hum.
I'm still fighting my Shapton hones.... I don't know if I'll ever get the hang of it again. I can shave with my razors, but it's not as comfy as I remember, and some of those warped jobbies seem to be more than I can muster....

This knot isn't set quite right so a tweak will be in it's future. Superb shave today. I really like the new Cade soap especially with a touch of L'Occitane Vetyver. Have a good one.
6/8 SH&B OVB (German made)
Savonniere du Moulin
homemade Shavemac 25mm pure fan
I finished this razor on a thuri for todays shave, Very nice close and comfortable shave. The Savonniere du Moulin is a good soap, nice lather, good post shave feel. This month I'm going to use stuff that deserves more face time. It will probably translate to straights mostly. Have a good one.
Oscar, one of my long standing favorite shavers is a 6/8 Clauss. Also, it must be very fulfilling to be able to make your own brushes. Your photos are proof of the added value they bring to these forums. I would love to be able to post a photo every day. Thanks for the effort it takes.

This knot is a terrible shedder. I figure I'll keep combing until it straightens out or it runs out of hair. It has calmed down quite a bit but.....
Nice shave, have a good one. Happy Marine Corp Birthday to all the Jarheads
5/8 Le Minet
MeiBner Tremonia, Indian Flavor
Homemade badger/Semogue 2 band knot
This razor reminds me of a Grelot to a degree. Excellent shave this morning. The MT Indian flavor was very nice, I'd say the prominent scent is lemon grass followed with a menthol feel. It's a too little soon post shave to comment much on post shave feel but my initial impression is favorable. A couple of hours will tell the tale. Lather was not an issue, very nice. Have a good one.
