Happy day here in nodak land

Let's talk about single and double edged razors and the blades that they use.

Happy day here in nodak land

Post by nodaktim »

Going through some boxes in the storage room and found something I had squirreled away and forgot about it.

I thought I was completely out of these. I don't recall how they compared to the Personna "Hospital Use" blades or others I used. I just remember I liked these blades and have a positive impression in my mind. I have been using Gillette Nacet blades lately and only get about 4 uses per blade vs Personna "HU" blades lasted 8-10 shave for me. I don't exactly recall how these performed. I thought the Wizamet Super Iridium blades were discontinued years ago, but I see they are still available online. Though, I am not sure if they are they same as these I found.

Thoughts or comments?

Still looking to get more of those Personna "HU" blades too. The ones you introduced me to years ago.But at least I have a better option than the Gillette Nacet blades in the mean time.

Tim, that's a helluva find!

Those look like two 250-blade-packs of Super Iridiums, of the generation upon which their original reputation was built. I would expect these to be easily superior to the Personna Med Prep/Hospital Use blades. These are top-quality blades.

I bought these same two 250-pillar packs, and I have only used one tuck of ten. Since then, I have bought a lot of other superlative blades, also mostly from Procter & Gamble's St Petersburg factory. So, I have high-quality blades in quantities that will outlast me by far!
