DRH Lavender shaving soap...

Post by nodaktim »

I used to struggle with soaps and used mostly creams in the past. I would keep trying and have good and bad lathers, but nothing consistent when using various soaps such as Geo F. Trumper or MWF. The good days were quite good, but I never seemed to get them dialed in to repeat the performance and would go back to creams for a while. I am really liking this D. R. Harris Lavender shaving soap, but the scent of the lather is so mild and is probably the only thing missing. My first impressions when opening the box, was just a clean old-style soap scent. Once you use it to make lather it seems almost none existent. It is pleasant, mild and clean. But, it doesn't exactly thrill you with it's scent. But, boy does it feel good on the skin. Throughout the day my face feels nicer as if a lotioned it or something.
