Ever Ready De-Luxe Natural Angle Razor - it's sold

Post by ichabod »

This is the closest thing to a collectible I have.

It's the Ever Ready version of the Gem known as the G Bar or G Love. I'm not sure if gold ones are rare, but I haven't seen any others.

Boxed, and comes with a little piece of paper that's the "Lifetime Gurantee of free service", two gold plastic razor boxes each with five Ever Ready CORRUX blades made in England.

The box actually has a small amount of discoloration to the white that doesn't really show up in the photo.

I've never used it, and I could believe it has never been used, but I have no idea.

$35 shipped in the US. I'll ship internationally but the price will go up accordingly. Sold.

selling the gold glove? say it's not so!

BTW, do you know if anyone has ever actually used a dog's bollocks blade until it wouldnt deliver a smooth shave? I swear I had one of those going for 3 weeks+ of off and on use...

A fair price to say the least and the best shaving GEM I have ever used!

It's far too pristine for me to consider using it, and I'm not likely to display it anywhere any time soon, so it goes to a better place.

I've never managed to get to the end of a dog's bollocks(!). I usually ended up changing the blade out of a feeling that I should, or because I wandered off to another razor and came back and used a new blade. I think 11 three pass shaves was as far as I got.

The extra thickness of the blade coupled with the ptfe coating is hard to beat.

11 shaves? Wow, I have always dropped them out after 3, just because that is what I do with my other razors... Maybe I should see how long they go.
