Future leg-shaver

Future leg-shaver

Post by TRBeck »

...born on Monday.

I spent the last two days in the hospital with my newborn daughter, Sydney. She is a strong, healthy, beautiful girl, born at 4:14pm on Monday. 9 lbs., 6 oz. We don't mess around with small babies in this family!

My wife and I have a 3-year-old son, too, and we are ecstatic to have expanded our family. I'll try to put up some pics sometime soon.

Anyway, thought I'd put the word out and say I'm sorry to anyone whose PMs I haven't answered lately. My wife and I have been prepping for this event and for an imminent move to a new town and new jobs, so the past three weeks or so (especially with holidays and travel, etc.) have really gotten away from me.

Life is good, guys. Hope you all have a good shave tomorrow morning, gents. I'm sure I will.

Off to sleep for a few minutes.
Regards,
Tim

Congrats. Good luck with the move and job.

I read the title and thought it was about someone who was thinking of shaving his legs, or using the Futur to do it.

Tried to get the wife to switch to a DE because she complains that she never can get her legs shaved well enough with those disposables.

That's one girl who isn't going to take any guff! As the proud father of 2 little "future leg shavers," I will say that the bond between a Dad and his daughter is a powerful, and wonderful force.

Wonderful news, Tim. Congratulations to you and your wife on #2 expansion to the family business.

On a similar note, we got news back in August that our middle son and his wife are expecting their first --- and our first grandchild. They are due two days after my birthday. With very good friends also due 2 days before my birthday I have been hoping for joint birthday celebrations one way or another. :D

Again, Tim, congratulations to you and the family. Now you will find out what it is to be a girl-daddy.
Best,

Congrats! As a fairly recent father of two myself I can say it is much easier with the second one. Not that the first one was hard, but at least this time you know what you are doing.

Also congratulations to you as well Wendell! If my parents and inlaws are any indicatation you are going to have a blast. One also seems to loose some proper judgment as well upon become a grandparent. I can point to a number of incidents where I have had to reprimand both child and grandparent.

Congratulations. And I can just imagine the future vetting of her dates when they arrive at the front door to pick her up: "So, tell me, young man....how do you shave?"

Indeed. This will happen at some point, without question.

Thanks for all the well-wishes, men. I'm looking very forward to this trip and learning all about being daddy of a girl.

And sleep. I'd forgotten exactly how tough a good, long, deep sleep is to come by.

She's an easy baby so far, though, and sleeps a bit better than her big brother did at this stage.

Thank you again, guys. Good days in our household.
Regards,
Tim
