Lee does stand behind his products. I bought a brush from him in March that was a heavy shedder from the beginning and he promptly replaced it. Most shedders seem to lose hairs right from the beggining but others can begin shedding some months after they had been put to use. I gave my son a two band...

For the most part I use creams more than soaps. I enjoy the scents, the lather etc. I really have never felt that soap would give the closer shave. My prep for the last 50 years or so has been pretty simple. Lots of hot water. I only face lather and enjoy building the lather and working it into my f...

There's a good video on You Tube on this razor. Sorry for the lack of a link but you can easily find it by doing a search under Cobra Classic razor. The guy describes it as a hybrid between a straight and a DE. I have too many razors now but have been tempted to try it. Might be the closest I'll com...

I bought one last week on the sale forum and I'm not finding it all that mild. I've only used it for two shaves but so far it's working well. The first shave was with a new Feather blade and I got a very acceptable although not outstanding shave. Very comfortable and I was pleased with the results. ...

I already have 5 of Bob's handles and the shave cabinet is getting crowded. But, if the three sectioned bronze handle for the client in Spain becomes a production piece, I'm a likely buyer. Great work.

I ordered a box of 100 of these blades from Robbins Instruments and received them on Monday. The box was marked as "Double Edge Prep" blades but upon opening the blade wrapper the "for hospital use" language was not there. The first assumption was that these were the lab blades n...

I can't really think of too much. I'm 64 years old and still look forward to my morning shave. My day wouldn't be right without it. I've had to buy everything online and while it would be nice to have a brick and mortar store closeby, I'm very grateful for the terrific service provided by the online...

Performance and good lather is a must. I like a scent that is not too strong and disappears with the shave. If a product has good skin conditioning that's a plus but if not I will use a post shave product.

I read recently that the blade gap on the newer EJ razors was measured against the Merkur and was considerably less. I don't recall the exact measurements. I have been using one recently and it is a bit more comfortable to use than the Merkur. I have an iKon too but have no idea how it compares in a...

I decided to give the Personnas a try, ordered 100 from Robbins. I would have liked to try a smaller quantity but the reviews on here and B&B have been so positive that I decided to take a chance. I have been using Feathers for quite awhile and it's been a long time since I have ordered blades.

I'm curious about these blades as well. I've used Feathers almost exclusively for some time and no real reason to change but I would like to try the Personna Meds. I've only found two places that sells them, Razor Blades and More and Robbins Instruments which has the better price. Does anyone have a...
